Press Release. 18 November 2025, Dublin, Ireland

Datalineo, a data analytics company that helps Irish companies make sense of their business data, has opened a new office in the seaside town of Cascais, Lisbon, Portugal. “I’m thrilled to open our new office in Lisbon – our first outside Ireland,” said Ben Watt, CEO, Datalineo. “Portugal offers a near-shore option for us to grow with access to a high quality specialist labour force and close proximity to Ireland. We will be recruiting a team of up to eight analytics consultants and data engineers next year with approx. Five of them will be based in our Portugal office.”

Frequently, different software systems don’t talk to each other and some of the data collected is useless on its own. Using Microsoft data platform technologies, like Power BI and the emerging Fabric suite, Datalineo extracts data from systems such as Dynamics CRM, SAP, Business Central or Oracle to makes sense of business data. For example, Datalineo can help a HR department streamline processes with custom workflows to uncover information needed to prompt action and track employee activity, absenteeism and time and attendance.

Datalineo has a number of international companies as customers including a US-based household-name beverage company, one of the biggest Austrian banking groups as well as a strong Irish footprint with the likes of Workhuman and Kingspan. Its loyal global and Irish customers have been with them for years and cover a range of business sectors including retail, finance, pharmaceutical, FMCG and IT.
